Looking for an activity for Furlough Fridays for your high schooler? Sopogy is hosting a Furlough Friday Workshop this Friday from 8:30-2:30 at their WaiWai Loop facility.

The workshop is free of charge and open to high school students, especially for those students interested in science, technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

The Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair (HSSEF) is an enrichment program which stimulates interest in science and encourages entry into a science related career. Excellence of student achievement is recognized and rewarded. Students have the opportunity to interact with professional scientists and engineers in the program. Exhibits at school, district and state levels serve to educate the public about science and engineering. HSSEF is the oldest and largest science education program in Hawaii.

Discover animals' adaptations for capturing their meals and what they eat here at the Aquarium. Included is an exclusive after-hours animal feeding. Watch the octopus extract its dinner from a jar. See the seadragons slurp up shrimps. Then it’s your turn to feed the animals in our Edge of the Reef exhibit. Minimum age 5 years; youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.

Ticket information: $16/adult, $12/child ($20/$15 for non-members).  Pre-registration required

3D Innovations, LLC provides 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) training and consulting services to both educational and industry professional clients. The company seeks to improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) educational programs in middle and high schools. Focusing on industry standard practices, our training program will integrate curriclum with hands on project based learning activities. CAD is also used for design and engineering applications that include 3D Modeling, Conceptual Designs, Simulation, Structural and Thermal Analysis, Kinematic motion, and Rapid Prototyping/3D Printing.
